We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Manager to oversee the development, implementation, and coordination of various programs and activities at our indoor sports facility. The Program Manager will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging sports programs, managing program budgets, coordinating schedules, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for sports and recreation.

Responsibilities:
  1. Program Development and Planning:
    • Design and develop a diverse range of sports programs and activities catering to different age groups and skill levels.
    • Conduct market research and stay updated on sports industry trends to identify new program opportunities.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, coaches, and instructors to ensure program offerings align with facility resources and customer demand.
  2. Program Implementation and Coordination:
    • Oversee the implementation and execution of all sports programs, including scheduling, registration, and logistics.
    • Coordinate with coaches, instructors, and other staff members to ensure smooth program operations and delivery of high-quality instruction.
    • Monitor program attendance, evaluate participant feedback, and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
  3. Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and efficient resource allocation.
    • Monitor program expenses, revenue generation, and cost control measures to meet financial targets and maximize profitability.
    • Identify opportunities for revenue growth through program expansion, partnership development, or sponsorship opportunities.
  4. Staff Management and Training:
    • Recruit, train, and supervise program staff, including coaches, instructors, and support personnel.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to program staff, promoting professional development and a high standard of instruction.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, encouraging teamwork, collaboration, and effective communication.
  5. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Ensure exceptional customer experiences by maintaining strong relationships with participants, parents, and stakeholders.
    • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback related to programs and activities.
    • Continuously seek opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty through program enhancements and personalized service.
  6. Reporting and Evaluation:
    • Generate regular reports on program performance, attendance, and financial metrics.
    • Conduct program evaluations and participant surveys to gather feedback and measure program effectiveness.
    • Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making, identify areas for improvement, and enhance program outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Recreation, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in program management, preferably in the sports or recreational industry.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, participants, parents, and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of various sports and recreational activities, rules, and instructional techniques.
  • Budget management experience and financial acumen.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and systems for program management and reporting.
